Entertainment in Tirupati

The holy city of Tirupati has its own different ways of entertainment and nightlife. The city life starts at 3:00AM and the ends by midnight. The population of the city mostly includes devotees who spend their life chanting and worshiping.

For entertainment in Tirupati one can enjoy movies in theater or can watch Telugu plays. One of the India’s largest Auditoriums named Sri Mahati Auditorium is in Tirupati. This auditorium is operated and taken care by TTD; it is mostly used for cultural and spiritual programs. Another auditorium named Shilparamam (the Urban Haat) operated by central and state tourism department, is located on the Tirupati-Tiruchanur road. The multipurpose auditorium seating capacity is of 600 seats which has a boat club. The weekend evenings in the city can be enjoyed by watching cultural programmes.

The life of the people of Tirupati city is very simple they work day and night to maintain the holiness of the city. The food served in most of the food joints is vegetarian.

As the city is a holy city one may not be able to locate disco and bars. There are few pubs clubbed with the restaurants in few hotels in the city.
