Cuisine of Tirupati

The place Tirupati in India is famous as Tirupati-Balaji or Tirupati-Tirumala. In olden days before 1953, Tirupati was once a part of Tamil Nadu which was later merged in the state of Andhra Pradesh. As the place lies near the border of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, the flavors served in Tirupati include both the flavor of Andhra and the flavor of Tamil Nadu.
